Welcome to the Pacific Grove Public Library Children’s and Youth Services Department! This is one of the most popular spots in town for young people and their families to spend time together, to enjoy the wonderful Children's Programs, to study, or simply to experience the pleasures of reading.
From the Kids' Page, children, parents and teachers can learn about all the services and programs offered by the Library and can search the Internet from the sites selected by Library staff for enjoyment and education. Parents and teachers will also find links to information about Internet safety and related information.
INTERNET SAFETY AND RULES
The staff here at the Pacific Grove Public Library want you to be safe while you search the Internet. Some things you may find on the Internet are not meant for children, or are not true, or can lead to danger. To be safe, stick to search engines and links meant for young people.
Be sure to talk with your parents about using the Internet and ask them to search with you. To help you and your parents, look at the links we've listed at the bottom of this page.
The Library staff are here to help you. Please ask. However, we can't tell you what information is appropriate for YOU. Please ask your parents to tell you if your family has special rules for you to follow when you are using the Internet.
Although the library staff cannot tell you what to look for on the Internet, we do have rules for everyone. Please read these important guidelines for using the Internet in the library.
